The IZKF administrative office has published the IZKF Annual Report 2023. It is now available to you digitally.

The publication price is aimed at all young researchers in the Faculty of Medicine up to a maximum of 38 years at the time of publication. For the prize to be awarded, the publication must have been published as the first author in the period 01/01/2023 - 31/12/2023. Work that led to the publication must have been carried out in Erlangen.

We would like to remind you of the deadline to apply for Synergy projects. The deadline is 31.07.2023.

11 Nachwuchswissenschaftler hatten einen Antrag auf Förderung durch das IZKF gestellt. Nach dem Kolloquium wurden 6 Projekte zur Förderung empfohlen.

So far, the IZKF has annually called for proposals for laboratory rotations in the Clinician Scientist Programme (Step 2), together with the junior projects. In the future, you can apply continuously for the rotation positions in CSP Step 2. Please find the changes in detail in this article.

On Tuesday, 13.12.2022 the annual general meeting of the IZKF took place. The chairman, Professor Wegner, and Professor Becker (spokesman junior scientist committee) gave a review and outlook on the funding lines of the IZKF.

Am 21. und 22. November 2022 wurde das IZKF Erlangen vom wissenschaftlichen Beirat begutachtet. Neben der externen Begutachtung der neuen IZKF-Projekte (Förderbeginn ab 2023) wurde hierbei insbesondere auch das IZKF Erlangen bezüglich seiner Förderlinien evaluiert.
